About our chess program and teaching methods

We understand that anyone can learn the basics, but in order to take chess to a higher level of learning, a combination of a good teacher and a good chess player is very important. And we have a real chess pro conducting the classes. Because everyone deserves the best chess education.
We have the passion and extensive knowledge of chess and teaching combined together. We have the real experience and intricate knowledge that is superior to many of the other organizations. We have our own method of teaching chess that includes other school sujbects, such as math, English, and languages- the Diana Durham chess teaching method.
We focus on the quality of learning, not on the quantity of students. Anyone can teach the basics, but only Educational Chess helps students understand things at a much deeper level.
We reached thousands of children since 1990, about 150-200 children per year.
We have taught in dozens of schools, and helped educate parents about the game of chess.
